About the Chestnuts
Chestnuts are a good source of fiber, carbohydrates, and minerals like potassium and manganese. They also contain antioxidants.
Chestnuts are moderately high in calories, but they are also filling due to their fiber content and have a low fat content compared to other, similar nuts.
Chestnuts should roasted, or boiled, due to their high tannin counts. They are often used in various dishes, including desserts, soups, and stuffing.
Chestnuts have a sweet, nutty flavor that is often compared to almonds or hazelnuts.
